S-UPE-R Summer lazyness!

Feeling really rested after a sunny lazy summer weekend with my kids at my moms place in the south of Holland.

What did we do?

Eating juicy melons...

Wearing moms slippers all day...

Playing with water is always the best!

Feeling really lazy, hmmmmm.....

Gardening in grandmothers garden...

Wearing each others clothes!

Learning new skills in the shadow...

Tickeling your brother on the long train ride home!

RENE DANIELS, A GREAT ARTIST!!!!

Rene Daniels an artis I never heard of before last night (shame in me). His work stole my heart (it is greatness!) and seeing the man he is now and his life story made me cry. It was incredibly moving seeing the documentary made of him by film director Jan Thijssen. Look at the you tube video I posted below to get an idea of his beautiful work. Later in life, or better sais too early in life he got a stroke that prevented him to proceed the creation of countless yet to be created work. He did go on painting and that makes him even more incredible as the untamed artist he is inside.

Spring is rare...

A rare spring day we had two days ago, we went to the 'children’s farm' nearby. I have no idea if it's called the children’s farm in English as well, sorry. The sun popped it's head around the corner for a little while that day, we haven't had lots of sunny days until now. Spring seems still far far away when we put on our winter coats to get some groceries....even the new pink flower buts come out  to look for the sun every ones in a while. When they finally do dare they to take a peek they get their sweet heads frozen off the day after. People say nature is confused these days. There is even less, insects, fruits and veggies expected this year because of natures confusion.. I feels sad thinking of that. Hope we'll all feel warmer in May...
